Musicians Anonymous 

Musicians Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women for whom drugs and alcohol had become a major problem. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using mind and mood altering chemicals.

It was commonly felt by "old-timers" that it was impossible for musicians to return to performing when in recovery. The original members of M.A. found that with a firm foundation in recovery and the willingness to discuss issues related to performing, it was indeed possible to return to music and performing better then ever and still remain clean and sober.
